What We Believe

1. In the verbal inspiration of the Scripture, both the Old and New Testaments.

2. Our God is a trinity in unity, manifested in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost.

3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth , in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

4. That regeneration by the Holy Ghost for the salvation of lost and sinful man, through faith in the shed blood of Christ, is absolutely essential.

5. In a life of holiness, without which no man can see the Lord, through sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace.

6. In the baptism of the Holy Ghost, received subsequent to the new birth, with the speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, as the initial physical sign.

7. In water baptism by immersion for believers only, which is a direct commandment of our Lord, in the name of the FATHER, and of The SON, and of The HOLY GHOST.

8. In the LORD's SUPPER and washing of the saints' feet.

9. That divine healing is provided for in the atonement, and is available to all who truly believe.

10. In the premillennial second coming of Jesus: first, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to meet Him in the air; and, second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

11. In the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.

Meet Our Pastor

Bishop Dr. Annette Lazarus-Rose is married to Elder Garfield Rose, a man of God, who shares her vision and supports his wife's extensive ministry with selfless care and understanding.

She was born on the island of Jamaica, West Indies. Bishop Rose accepted the Jesus as her savior and was called to ministry at  12-years-old. In preparation for ministry, she enrolled in the Caribbean Pentecostal Bible College located in Manchester, Jamaica, where she earned a diploma in Christian Ministry. Bishop Rose has a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary in Texas and a Doctor of Ministry from the School of Bible Theology Seminary in California. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Bishop Rose is a sought-after conference speaker, counselor, evangelist, and international minister. She has ministered in Antigua, Canada, Dominica, England, Ghana, Grenada, India, Nassau & Freeport (Bahamas), Nigeria, Uganda, and extensively in Kenya, Trinidad & Tobago, and also on the Island of St. Kitts & Nevis. Bishop Rose's ministry continues to flourish unto the glory of God. She oversees ministries in Kenya, St. Kitts, Florida, and St. Maarten.

The excellence of her counseling ministry has brought her face-to-face with the needs of the impoverished people of New York City. Her heart has broken at the plight of battered women, prostitutes, drug addicts, alcoholics, abused children, delinquent teenagers, and the neglected elderly. Out of that broken heart was born the vision for Bethesda Healing Center, a sanctuary that ministers and serves as a lighthouse for the Brownsville Community. She not only ministers to members of her congregation, but Bishop Rose has an open-door policy to anyone that needs sound counsel and direction for their lives from God.
